At Biggest Little Learning Center (BLLC) we understand that all Reno Daycare centers aren’t created alike. We strive to offer hometown care for every child in our center and are proud to offer low child to teacher ratios. We’re a small family owned center founded by a mother who simply loves children, not a corporation seeking high profits. We believe every child deserves a nurturing, loving environment where they can explore, grow, and thrive. Our dedicated team of experienced educators works closely with families to provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally enriching experience for every child. Children learn and develop when they are in a predictable environment. As they have an opportunity to anticipate what will occur and can make choices throughout the day. Our center’s curriculum is based on reflective caregiving practices that are developmentally, culturally & linguistically appropriate. Primary caregivers take a playful approach when they interact with the children during routine care times. Children are nurtured, held and encouraged through positive support & guidance throughout the day. Each child is encouraged to explore our rich environment via activities such as water & sensory play, various art mediums, reading books & dramatic play. Hands on activities are designed to promote learning through play, while preparing the children for their future school experience.
Our Programs
Infants Ages 6 weeks to 15 months
At BLLC, we understand how important the infant stage of your child’s life is to their development. This is a stage where your child begins learning language skills, fine and gross motor skills and their relationship to play. We know that your little one is developing at a rapid rate and our program is specifically designed to meet their needs
Toddlers Ages 15 months to 3 years
Toddlers are full of liveliness and are ready to explore the world with enthusiasm. We are proud of our low staff to child ratio so we can start the day off with the children being greeted by the friendly teachers and staff.
Children and staff come together for circle time where your toddler will learn how to sing the alphabet, count, and much more.
During playground time children will explore what their bodies can do and how nature works in the world which we live.
Preschool Program Ages 3 to 6 years
Our preschool class offers a theme-based curriculum helping your child to become successful in Kindergarten. The Preschool class will learn the sound and letters of the alphabet, recognizing numbers as well as how to recognize and write their name.
